Top 3 Think Biblically Podcast Episodes (2021)

SeanMcDowell.org

It’s hard to believe, but 2021 marks the fifth year we have been recording weekly episodes of the Think Biblically podcast. It continues to grow consistently and steadily.

For the past few years, I have posted the top 10 most popular episodes from the year. But as I have thought more about it, does anyone really go back and listen to ten episodes they missed? I doubt it.

To be more helpful, I have decided to post the top 3 from 2021. While we covered issues including immigration, progressive Christianity, climate change, Islam, and purity culture, here’s the top episodes from 2021. If you missed any of these, I hope you will consider going back and listening (especially #1).

#3: Seven Things I Wish I Knew about the Bible (with Michael Bird).

In this episode, we discuss some of the biggest questions people have about the Bible related to how we know it is true, how it was put together, and how to best interpret it. Dr. Bird is one of the leading New Testament scholars today and an expert on the divinity of Jesus. He’s also a lot of fun.

#2: Critical Race Theory in the Culture and the Church (with David French)

Critical Race Theory became a huge issue of discussion within the church and culture in 2021. David French is a popular columnist and writer who brings a unique perspective to this issue. While I was not present for this interview, my co-host Scott Rae did an excellent job asking him the most critical questions about how Christians can think about CRT.

#1: Taking the Vaccine: Right or Wrong? (with Scott Rae, my co-host)

Questions involving the ethics of the vaccine continue to dominate our culture going into 2022. In this episode, I talk with my co-host about the ethics of taking the vaccine since it was developed with cell lines from aborted fetuses, and whether or not Christians are obligated to get the vaccine out of love for their neighbors.

If you have not subscribed to the Think Biblically podcast yet, please consider doing so! We have some great interviews and conversations lined up for 2022 including a review of the popular book Jesus and John Wayne.
