The number of single adults has been growing for the past few decades in the US and today the number of households headed by a single person are more than 50% of all households. Yet in many churches the unwritten norm is “married with children,” and marriage is often seen as a sign of maturity. So where does that leave single adults, especially those who feel that they might be called to singleness?
